That should have been done the second it was legalised (don't get me started on before then and who these laws were written to target in the first place), waiting this long is nothing to be proud of, it's bare minimum shit..
You do realize that it's not actually legal Federally, right?
And due to anti-drug treaties we have with other nations, it may be a good long while before it's even possible to make it legal Federally.
So wherever it is fucking legal already (there are absolutely still people imprisoned for offences that no longer exist in their state), way to miss the point..
I don't think you fully understand the relationship between federal and state law, or between repealed / altered laws and those who were convicted beforehand.
