It is convenient and the whole point of the article is to bring affordable EVs to Europe.

And you know there are other EVs that exist with decent range that cost a lot less, support fast charging and can transport 4 people along with their luggage easily.

Could you please start behaving respectfully and stop mocking me. That doesn't make you look superior, quite the opposite in fact.

400km+ You don't need to buy an EV with a 500+ km range to be able to go from A to Z, you can buy something from this list.

And even if you limit the range to starting from 500km you can still see cars for about 50K: 500km+

I'm not mocking you, not at all.

In your 500km link are three cars. Two of them cannot be bought outaide of China and the third on is a French car that will become available in 2024. Its theoretical range is 520, which means the real range is probably around 400, if you use things like AC, radio, and drive above 90 km/h.

So again, no, you cannot currently buy a cheap electric car with a range of 500km.

Correction, the prices listed there are the one for DE, NL and UK market and those models are currently available in those markets.

Nope, they are not. The Peugeot literally says "from 2024" on the link you posted. The BYD Seal is not available. Screenshot from their German website:
