Good news is nearly all my taste is back. Bad news is I have this lingering taste and smell that I can't seem to shake off.

It's bizarre isn't it?
Totally. For me the big one was I could not taste the heat in any hot sauce/chilli sauce, no matter how much I had. I got the associated watery eyes, sniffly nose etc, but not the heat. Was bizarre.
Yes. I got the nice warm little buzz and tingly tongue but no chilli taste.
That's the taste of your own sinuses. You'll acclimate again
Well that's just horrible.
