Living in mexico i learned that my favorite way to have rum/coke was to have half coke, half soda water, and double rum, and a bit of lime juice. SUCH A GOOD DRINK, and often i wouldn't get hangovers because the water kept me hydrated.
mexican coke could sustain this but i think hfcs yankee coke would ruin it probably
I've had it in countries where coke is not as good as in Mexico and it still holds up, it actually waters it down enough to make the lime/lemon pop more.
