What happened to the fried ice cream?

You should try a fried Mars bar. Or a Crunchie, I've heard.

Made a mess of oil and milk and mom got really mad. Also permanently made me nervous about frying things, not because I got burned but because of how upset mom was after finding out of my icy fried adventures.

Never got to try a fried Mars bar, they don't sell them where I live now. Some dude from Glasgow was telling me to try that too like it was the best thing on Earth. I did try a fried twinkie and snickers, they were ok but he was making it sound like the heavens would open up and some invisible chorus would sing upon eating any of those things. Nah.

The thing about ice cream is that it's only really viable as a fair food. The oil vat needs to be big and hot as hell while the ice cream needs to be kept below whatis generally a desirable temperature. It's pretty descent but honestly not worth the trouble to make yourself

This was in an itty bitty pot full of oil brought to an unknown temperature my sister wagered was 'hot enough', I still fry things like that...

Yeah the classic "hot enough" temperature

Many a fried foods ruined that way 😔
