Edit: how come its alleged killer and not the fucking killer. They all but got Luigi tried and convicted in the papers for allegedly killing that ceo. But they don't say he alleged. They keep referring to him as the killer. Yet this fucking religious nut terrorist is getting handled with kid gloves.

Unless a federal agency steps in for some reason, it's likely to remain a state matter. It's entirely possible that someone at the federal level would try and make it federal jurisdiction just so the shooter can be pardoned, but I doubt it'd have legal precedent. Which means it's likely to be denied on a judicial level.
