I am quite excited about this one. It looks nice and the writing seems actually funny. I've been struggling to get into narrative-focused games recently. This seems refreshing enough it may do it for me.

I am just curious, what kind of recent narrative-focused games have you bounced off from?

Woof. It's less boincing off than just sticking with very mechanics-driven games, I think. It's not like I'm trying narrative games and stopping, it's more that when I sit down to play I end up with a fighting game or a puzzle game or a strategy game instead of mentally booking a two hour session for a big action epic. Sometimes I play those for longer than two hours, it's just the pace is more likely to get me to sit down.

I certainly did bounce off of things, though. I started Final Fantasy XVI when it came out on PC and didn't get very far. I have started and not finished the more recent Resident Evils. I wanted to get into the Telltale-like they made for The Expanse and ended up bouncing off pretty fast despite not being particularly displeased with it...

I don't know if that answers your question.

Ah, I see. Makes sense.

Cheers!
