I believe all British combat vehicles are required to have full tea making facilities internally. I'm honestly not sure if it's extended to warships or not. It would be remedied VERY quickly however, if not.

I would imagine so, IIRC fr*nch (๐Ÿคข) warships all have bread making facilities on board

The British one came from WW2. German snipers realised that British tanks would stop for tea. At the time, they had to get out to make it. Newer tanks then required internal tea making facilities, so they couldn't be picked off by snipers.

The french bread thing also says something about the culture.

Fyi, the French were terrifying in war for a long time. It just happened that the last 2 big wars had them in a bad position.

And 1871 was also an embarassment, and 1830, and 1821 et cetera. Napoleon was a short reprieve from several centuries of humiliating defeats.
