Call of duty: first person shooter

Doom 1993: first person shooter

They are essentially the same game!

Their chicken tenders are some of the best fast food tenders you can get too. Plus they come with sourdough toast

I just wish they would fix bombers somehow. I wish I could fly my B-17 or B-29 and actually drop bombs.

All I want is high altitude carpet bombing, I know everyone else thinks it's boring but it's what I want 😭

Yeah I don't know when this tweet is from but I imagine that it's talking about the 50501 protests. Which the NY times covered extensively.

Hell right now there's a half dozen articles on their homepage. Or if you don't want that here's an article, and Another article.

Then again, literally every single time I've seen a comment like this online talking about "nobody is talking about this!!!!" every single major newspaper has multiple articles about it. I don't know why people keep falling for this when it's the easiest thing on earth to prove. Like guys, just Google the thing """nobody""" is talking about.

DnD is also a game that utilizes table rules pretty much all the time. It's possible that his DM gave more flexible rules, I know my DM will if you have a convincing argument.

But also, buddy definitely says "you're one of the good ones" to his black coworkers

Sure, if you narrow your view to literally only what is in front of you. But everyrhing has gotten cheaper, duller, less colorful, and just clearly designed for nothing but extracting capital.

Yes, you're right, we shouldn't be advertising that crap to children. But I would like to buy a car with an actual color painted on it, or have a house with actual character, or pay for services that actually work because at least someone behind the scenes actually cares. I feel like we've just lost all soul in society and it shows up in all sorts of places you wouldnt expect.

Places like how were all more lonely than anytime in history even though there's more people than ever, or how people are so scared all the time even though we live in the safest time in the last 150 years, or how people seem to just be angry and have less patience in public any more.

McDonald's is just an easy target because of how shocking their change has been, and how ubiquitous these changes have been.

And the crappy wood ones are so expensive! I was at Ikea and all of their dressers were like $250-$500 or more!

That's a far too progressive stance for the Democrats. Maybe we should try Hillary again?

Tbh, I don't care what the "intent" was. Swinging an animal by its feet into a wall because it stole your chips is an entirely inappropriate response.

Like if you kicked a dog in the head because it peed in your lawn. It's a disgusting and very much non-proportional response.

No but brutally killing an animal in public in front of children is.

Hey guys i have been using Navidrome to stream my music from my server and its been amazing. I primarily use YT Music because of discoverability so I have all of my "primary" playlists (about 8 of them really, but supporting a somewhat arbitrary limit would be nice) in YouTube.

Im looking for an automated way to download the music and keep my navidrome instance updated with a couple playlists. I started working on some Python script to handle it, but its just not working super well so i would prefer to use someone elses solution haha.

Anyone have any good recommendations? I tried this one but I couldn't actually find the music and it seems to only support one playlist at a time. It would also be nice to download the album art and set some ID3 tags too

Hey guys one of the things I miss about reddit is communities like r/Conservative or r/conspiracy, not because I agree with really anything they say there, but because it's a challenge for me.

It's really easy to say "no you're dumb and wrong", but I like going down rabbit holes so I will take the bat shit insane stuff they say and find actual sources to refute them. I know it won't actually change any minds but it's fun for me.

I know theres @[email protected] but that is basically just non-conservatives making fun of conservatives. And I have not been able to find any good conspiracy theory communities on Lemmy at all.

Any advice?

I tend to have some more free time on Sundays so I was hoping to start making some nicer and fancier diners.

I'd say I would have about 90 minutes or so that I could dedicate to prep time (or if it needs prepped the night before like a marinade that's fine too) and pretty much as long as it needs for cooking too.

What's your favorite meal to make on your weekends?

I used to use Boost for Reddit and one of my favorite features was the custom Feeds.

Is there any plans to bring those back? Or am I just missing it?

Hello all, I am looking to start getting back into RSS feeds but nothing Ive found so far matches all of my requirements so i was going to see if you guys had any advice.

My requirements are:

  • Self hosted (preferably with an official docker container)
  • I should be able to view it in the web, as well as with an Android app but it doesn't have to be a first party app
  • It has to look nice and modern, preferably with a dark mode option

Anything you guys know of that would meet all three of those things?

Currently my plan is to run FreshRSS as my aggregator and FeedMe or Focus Reader on Android. I don't really have any plans for web viewers though
