Sadly the internet has been anglocanized for a long time since the west got a head start on manufacturing consent. The real rich part is going onto places like r/china and it's all in English
Its quite common. The mods for r/Afghanistan consists of
1: the Westminster Institute's Reddit account, a pro US think tank
2: the Hoover Institution's Reddit account, a conservative think tank that had Margaret Thatcher as a guest contributor and honorary fellow
3: Foreign Affairs Reddit account, yet another pro US think tank that justifies US policy in Latin America
4: American Security Project, a US NGO
And previously they had a Hindu ultranationalist that ended up getting banned or something for being too islamaphohic
