I wouldn't have expected Balatro to pull me in as much as it did, but here I am. I wasn't sure which platform to get the game for since I do usually play quite a bit on my phone but thought the small screen would be annoying at times, so I got the game for my iPad - best decision I could have made. My hype for the game has "died down" a little in that I don't play the game for several hours on end, everyday like I used to when it released for mobile devices, but whenever I have some downtime and don't know what else to watch/listen to while cooking, for example, I'm watching Roffle. Really just such an amazing game.

I've been playing Slay the Spire since late 2019ish and my main platform is my phone where I've racked up over 200h. Slay the Spire might the contender for one of the best games ever made, I feel like - definitely one of the best card games and rogue-likes/lites. I've beaten A20 on all characters expect Ironclad on my phone and am currently working on doing the same on my iPad. Didn't like Ironclad too much at first, but I've been grinding him these past few months and am actually enjoying my time more than I would have expected. Really looking forward to StS2

And I'm all for it! Every month amazing new ones are coming out.

Currently on my wishlist or waiting for the full release to not burn out on the EA version.
