I'll also put rice marks in parentheses after each thing to guess, to indicate how many hints I can give you before I have to start improvising new hints. For this edition of Saturday Anime Night, we’re returning to the much-beloved anime adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s legendary manga, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, with episodes 7 through 12 of the fifth part, Golden Wind. Expect a whole bunch of muscley guys doing silly poses while fighting other muscley guys.

After that is Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window (2023), a slice-of-life semi-autobiographical anime film set during WW2 and Japan’s descent into fascism. A young girl goes to an unconventional school during this period and finds an inspirational teacher there who gives her a respite amidst the stresses of war. Great reviews for this, and it looks beautiful, so let’s check it out. This is the most notable work to date of director Shinnosuke Yakuwa, who otherwise has done only a few Doraemon movies.
