I used to play extreme music some 15 years ago and by God 80% of our humour was variations of calling each other f*gs. It's quite sad cause we didn't have an ounce of préjudice in us we were just wankers with dead end jobs and shit guitars. My meagre understanding : we estimate the age of the universe by factoring some observables like the light and radiation we get from the universe's past, with constants like the speed of light. This new research proposes a model where one of those constants evolves over time, which would significantly alter the final result. It is called the coupling constant but I don't know enough to explain more 😬
