It's ok, we're all gonna die.

Thanks. I now realized, how I came to that conclusion: Last time this was discussed the person called it "link ring" and that didn't not yield any reasonable results.

Edit: And because notifications for comment replies are deactivated by default I didn't even notice the person has corrected their wording. Still learning how to kbin :).

I hope you're right, sounds quite exciting!
Could you describe what "webrings" were? I've read about them in a similar thread, but couldn't find any info on them.

You just added a couple more games to my backlog. Thanks! :)

This is very promising! I loved What remains of Edith Finch, Stray and Outer Wilds. Excited to see what they are doing with Blade Runner

I could imagine something similar to reddit's multisubreddit feature, whereas in this case it's different magazines/communities from different instances or even services.

But wouldn't the be easier ways to distract?

Weirdly enough, there is no actual buzz yet, from my point of view. The claims are quite crazy, and mainstream media has only reported hesitantly if not ignored the recent developments so far.
So while I understand your general stance, I would agree more with the article in that "something" is going on that is worth looking at, without coming to early conclusions. No matter the outcome, it can potentially teach us a lot about how these involved organizations/entities work.

The article discusses the growing interest and discussion surrounding UFOs, or UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), in Washington DC. Despite the city's reputation for seriousness and lack of excitement, numerous important figures, including politicians, intelligence officials, and even former presidents, have made statements acknowledging the existence of unexplained aerial phenomena.

The author cites statements from individuals such as John Brennan, former head of the CIA, who suggests that some UFO sightings might involve a different form of life. John Ratcliffe, Donald Trump's Director of National Intelligence, speaks of sightings that are difficult to explain and surpass current technological capabilities. Even former CIA Director James Woolsey expresses a shift in his skepticism towards UFOs.

The article introduces whistleblower David Grusch, an intelligence officer, who has made extraordinary claims regarding crashed alien craft and their potential involvement in human injuries and deaths. Grusch suggests that these non-human intelligence (NHI) craft may exist in a parallel dimension to ours and possess the ability to bend space and time. Grusch implicates Mussolini and the Vatican in the handling of a crashed UFO during World War II.

A Manitoba member of Parliament wrote Canada's minister of defence this spring suggesting the country has participated in a secret multi-nation program devoted to "the recovery and exploitation" of unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) material.
