I was gonna ask in !Meta. I'm guessing a mod/admin asked them to reduce their posting frequency and they didn't reply or comply.

What does the term Greater signify. I see it attached to certain animals, but i’ve no idea why.
I'm reasonably confident it just signifies bigness
Petition to change the canton as per Sam Neil's patch in Event Horizon
Well, Israel/USA has been hostile to Iran for a long time. Iran is the last state in the region that stands against US interests. There's a lot of people who want a war against them.
It could also serve in misdirecting attention while they escalate their crimes in Gaza. Israel took out Gaza's last internet cable in the day before their attacks on Iran: https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/un-says-full-internet-blackout-gaza-paralyzing-aid-operations-2025-06-12/
There is a broad consensus in the Israeli public that Iran is a major threat, and Israel's opposition leader, Yair Lapid, a staunch critic of Netanyahu, offered his "full support" for the mission against Iran.
I assume they're referring to the fact that moniker of 'the lucky country' was originally intended as a perjorative:
from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lucky_Country
The title has become a nickname for Australia[1] and is generally used favourably, although the origin of the phrase was negative in the context of the book.
Horne's intent in writing the book was to portray Australia's climb to power and wealth based almost entirely on luck rather than the strength of its political or economic system, which Horne believed was "second rate". In addition to political and economic weaknesses, he also lamented on the lack of innovation and ambition, as well as a philistinism in the absence of art, among the Australian population, viewed by Horne as being complacent and indifferent to intellectual matters. He also commented on matters relating to Australian puritanism, as well as conservatism, particularly in relation to censorship and politics.
Finally our government has done something which technically constitutes action. I'm amazed!
Yeah, when I posted this the extended longer video appeared at the top of the page on load. They've since added more videos, so now the footage of the reporter being shot with a rubber bullet is video 3 (or there's just the YouTube link in the post body which is better quality anyway).
