If attacking civilians is the mark of psychopathology then the US does a good job of arming such nations. What the Houthis are doing is not happening in a vacuum. They have a history of resisting regimes propped up by the US. Does that make them saints? No. But we're not any better.

OP isn't stating they can't change, but it has to personally happen to them in order for them to get perspective. That means the education or activism has to come from someone they already care about for it to matter. This is why when my ultra conservative Dad visits, we all go as a family to the most queer Church in town.

I would say there's other things like the resurgence of unions and anti-monopoly enforcement that would absolutely not happen under a Republican regime. And some of those unions (ie UAW) have publicly come out against the genocide.
