That and the Boomers modified social security to cap contributions for high income earners. If we removed that cap the issues with solvency get mostly solved.

Those people pride themselves at driving to another county to show up uninvited and unwelcomed. Source: Dealt with a few at protests in a "liberal urban" city.

I imagine when they look at the lines of voters they categorize people into two bins: normal and not-normal. Trump is asking his supporters to do a Rorschach test but citizens are the ink blots and he's specifically telling them to look for scary things. Their Conclusion: If you see lots of normal people and he loses the election, then it's because of those voters that didn't look normal were there to rig the system.

bring nothing to your business

Well that's the contention. Your example starts and ends with people leaving YouTube. If YouTube is the limit of consideration then yes, no value exists outside YouTube and this is a silly argument.

Why do it for free when it's a very popular grift? Literal bonuses if you punch down on your own intersectional identity.

If you view people as purely advertising receptacles then this business move is logical. But if you view people as agents that can build their own alternatives or advertise your services then this would seem to be a dumb business move.

A lot of things get lumped into "profit motive". Help my neighbor clean their yard for a small fee? Profit motive. Invent a cure for polio and sell it for $1? Profit motive. Establish a monopoly on a life saving drug and drive up the retail price? Profit motive.

Funny how "Profit motive" doesn't make a distinction between solving a problem and making a problem for others.

I'm optimistic we'll find a way to blame the poor. Just learn to code, and do rigorous statistics you ungrateful meatbag.
