The difference is that communists accept the need for censorship and are open about why some ideas need to be suppressed. However, liberals hypocritically claim to stand for free speech and claim this is the key differentiating factor between liberal democracies and socialist systems, but only tolerate speech that they deem acceptable.

The most frustrating aspect is the utter inability to do any sort of self reflection and self criticism whenever faced with being wrong about something. It's impossible for people to correct their understanding when they're not even capable of acknowledging problems.
This whole notion that Trump is an aberration and the EU can just wait him out is deeply infantile. Trump was elected because of the structural decline in the material conditions. Whoever replaces Trump will be a product to the same conditions that led to Trump being elected. The world has changed, and there's no going back now.
