Yeah candor/feedback are hard in relationships and getting "consent" before doing that can help a lot. It takes a lot of trust to get to that level.

Keep working on it, it takes so much effort on my part to be like "man that really sucks" or "wow that sounds really frustrating" for the most part my SO knows the solution and just wants to be heard.

I've overheard her talking to her mom on the phone how supportive I am and how good of a listener I am. This is the first relationship I've managed to do these things and we're getting married in 4 weeks :)

I wish my kitchen was just a little bit bigger lol. My fiance gets mad when I'm all up in her space, kitchen is off limits when she's cooking.

The F16 is in such an amazing aircraft, US really knocked it out of the park with that one. Multi-role AA/AG, HARM deployment, laser and gos guided bombs, a great targeting pod and HTS for SEAD/DEAD, great speed, and it can hold its own in a dogfight even though it's outclassed by newer gen fighters.

It's really a great platform.

If you wanna over analyze it some more...

It also displays a sense of humor/levity in sticky situations, some flirty playfulness, and a dash of humbleness to not presume the crush is reciprocal.

10/10 response honestly, the original question was pretty direct.

His official status wasn't asylum per se, but his status was he could be deported ANYWHERE BUT EL SALVADOR if the courts deemed fit. Which he was not deported through the courts, and they sent him to El fucking Salvador, the one place it would be illegal to send him to.

This whole situation has me so pissed off, this country sucks.

Hey guys this probably isn't the right place, but I'm new to mental health issues. About two weeks ago I started having crippling anxiety attacks, mostly at or right after work. I do intl logistics for my company so I've had a pulse on all this bullshit from the getgo.

At the same time I started having blood pressure issues, and the combination has a vicious feedback loop of anxiety > elevated heart issues > anxiety etc.

My doctor gave me 30 Xanax (and a plethora of heart meds), I've looked up self help type stuff to help with the anxiety... Mindfulness, breathing exercises, etc. Daily walks and exercise help the most but I feel so out of control of my emotions I don't really know what to do anymore.

Should I talk to my GP and get on something long term? Therapist? Keep trying self help?

I'm 38 and otherwise healthy, no depression, slightly overweight but physically active and eating healthy. I stopped all my vices (nicotine, alcohol, most weed I still take edibles CBD) and I don't know how to cope without being self destructive.

If anyone else is going through this and getting traction just let me know your experience I guess. I don't know anyone irl as affected as me so I mainly just want validation I'm not alone and there's a path forward.

Nah just stupid number formatting, my UPCs regularly turn into scientific notation or my UOM automatically convert to a string ="12" which ruins math operations so first I have to make a helper column =NUMBERVALUE([@UOM]).

Or being unable to convert datetime to a simple date for date calculations without loading the table into power query and transforming it there. You can change the format into short date but if the actual value is datetime it will still throw an error but now the type issue is hidden, so have fun reading docs and troubleshooting until you realize your mistake :)

Yeah if its something ad hoc I'll paste values but for sheets meant to be maintained I'll do it in PQ through merges or calculated columns. Lookups get the job done but they are expensive ;)

Hi guys, I see there's no posts here yet so let's chat!

My earliest memories of misophonia were around age 6-7. My older brother was a loud eater and would tease me about my reactions, and my dad had TMJ (clicky jaw) and downplayed how it made me feel. I coped by eating quickly and excusing myself or sometimes my parents would get me a separate table when we ate out.

As an adult (37 today) I've gotten better at coping and I work with understanding people that listened when I explained it and asked my office mates to not eat at their desks.

It's still a difficult condition to live with and I avoid movies and certain social situations. I also hate confrontation it by the time I get the nerve to say something about it I'm already enraged.

How are y'all doing?

I assumed just German memes but I was always afraid to ask on Reddit. Is there a specific style of humor, or jokes about things only Germans would understand?

Danke 🙏
