Extreme drive for individualism leads to the society where nobody cares about others and the strongest wins. I wonder for how long the community can survive in these conditions.

In my case there's a huge timeframe between 2008 and 2025 I have played mainly multiplayer games like Tibia, Runescape, Realm of Mad God, Counter-Strike, Killing Floor and rarely touched singleplayer games.

I have barely touched GTA1, GTA2, GTA 4 or GTA 5 (finished GTA3 and GTA:SA not so long time ago). I have spent 30 mins in Skyrim. In Witcher 3 2-3 hours while (Witcher 1,2 stay unfinished). HalfLife series keep waiting for me to come back and lead Gordon to the end of the story.

I can go with more and more examples with classic singleplayer games which patiently wait in my library and if you ask me, the multiplayer games really "help in this regard.

Recently Freetube, which I mainly use for Youtube stopped working and I had a pleasure to open Youtube link in incognito mode. Adverts popping up on the beginning of every video, in random moments while video was playing and when switching to specific timestamp made me realize how much I should be thankful for adblockers and alternative frontends.

It happens quite often most prolly due to Youtube API changes. Google work hard to ban all alternative frontends.

Usually I was able to put embed link to my post and it was showing the video.

Funny clip compilation from Game Awards. I think it's worth to watch since the channel has meme quality content and don't post so frequently.

I have found this thread on Endevaour OS forums where the OP looks for viable options: https://forum.endeavouros.com/t/privacy-focused-youtube-workflow/69414/17

It's always interesting when people from the Internet meet in-person. It should happen more often to the point when the people become friends and exchange it to real life socialising.

The demand is there and keeps increasing. I even thought about some platform where people from reddit/lemmy type of platform do stuff together like sports, outdoor, going to pub or something like that. I'm writing here about non-mainstream solutions.

thinmatrix - cozy, solo gamedev videos

Select the square on OpenStreeMap and the app will generate the world directory, which can be opened in Minecraft Java Edition.

I haven't figured out yet what's the best world scale ratio, but visiting known locations is fun.

Have you finished the process of accounts deletion or data removal? How long did it take?

Was it tiresome going through every "data protection officer" mail of companies while requesting for data removal?

How have you monitored the progress and checked if they removed your data?

Are you strict with new account creations nowadays?
