Again, what you're saying isn't relevant to Lemmy at all. Please elaborate how would a graphics card on some random server help protect actual victims?

I don't see the problem here. What makes you think that the false positives in this case is "unacceptable"? So what if Joe Bloggs isn't able to share a picture of a random kid (why tho) or an image of a child-like person?

That's unfortunate. I can't say that I have full memories of my childhood either, but I do have a few strong memories like watching cartoons and reading comics. Maybe it's because I matured late and continued some of my childhood hobbies into adulthood (mostly watching anime these days, or "kidult" cartoons like Lower Decks and Futurama), or maybe it's the fond memories of watching them with my mum and having a laugh (eg Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, Top Cat), or maybe it's because I never really had friends as a kid, so books and TV were my friends...

Good point, I'm sure they did, but I left the school before they would've introduced those classes (basically left before high school).

I'm a decade older than you and ask myself the same question. In fact, I've never even been in a proper romantic relationship. The closest I've gotten to is holding hands, but we never even kissed.

In saying that, I do fine for the most part, and live a normal life. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in a romantic relationship, but trying to find someone has been next to impossible and stressful, so I tend to just avoid the topic. It does get a bit annoying though when you're the only single person and you go to a meetup or something and everyone else is coupled up or has a partner. Even more annoying when I hear about people in poly relationships.. I'm like.. mf I'm struggling to get even ONE person and you have two or three partners, wtf‽

In all seriousness though, I don't think I really mind bring single, but practically speaking, it sucks because of the higher living costs. We need more affordable housing made for single folks and we need the government to treat singles with the same rights/perks as married folks.

Our school banned us from speaking our native languages (if it wasn't English). Basically everyone had to speak in English even during breaks, and if we were caught speaking our native language, we would be fined.

This was a very orthodox, boys-only Christian school, so there were a lot of things they did back then that would seem strange now.

It was all a bit of a blur, but I recall there were lots of lapdances, champagne, and getting in a hot tub with a bunch of strippers and doing karaoke.

Not to go to the strip club when drunk. I blew like $5k in one weekend, never going back again (at least, not when I'm drunk).

I'm unware of "woke" culture (or political terms such as right or left), but why would having a Gender Equality title be the target of attacks? A title like that should also, in theory, cover people who are transgendered, non-binary, intersex etc, so pretty much everyone in the country should be included. I'm not sure why "woke" people would take offence to this? Are they a gender that doesn't fit in any of the currently established genders or something? Wouldn't "woke" people also benefit from any decisions made by this minister, so why would they be offended?

I've been using a Danish made one called Nifisk King for more than a decade now (which I bought second hand btw) and is still going strong. As you said, the bags themselves are a filter, but there's also a second filter that sits in between the bags and the inside of the vaccum (which btw, you get free every time you purchase a ser of bags), and of course the main HEPA exhause filter, which almost never gets dirty (had to change mine only once in the past decade).
