EXACTLY! That's why I'm turning my yard into a native habitat for all sorts of critters. I'm planting mushrooms, wildflowers, native shrubs and trees, ferns, etc. I've already noticed an uptick in the year and a half I've been doing it and maintenance is a breeze. Way easier than keeping up with grass and I love having some clover in the yard and the bees go nuts for it!

Really happy with today. I always use a unique word every day to try for a hole in one. Today's was upset.

Our economy is just about fucked, so why not start a war? That's what we do, right?

What's fucking crazy is that this has been going on for a year; they found files last summer. And he's been a sitting rep this whole fucking time!

Edit: honestly, he's a huge piece of shit, besides the CSAM material, just unpleasant all the time. I know some folks at the State House and they hated him.

Well, I'm still happy that my grandfathered $7.99 plan from the GPM days still holds up, fully ad-free.

Which grows more useless everyday, arguably. I reckon I'll still stick with Kagi.

Crazy how the "fiscally responsible" Republicans still can't grasp money going in must be greater than money going out to decrease the deficit. There's no way out of this shit storm without raising taxes on the wealthy and corporations. We also need a progressive capital gains tax, so that when billionaires get their dividends, they're taxed to hell. But what the fuck do I know.

There are only three times in American history, that I can find, that habeas corpus was suspended. The civil war, WWII, and right after 9/11. It should be noted that SCOTUS overturned the suspension after 9/11 when Bush wanted to detain and send people to Guantanamo without due process. So, there's some precedent as to when and how, the question will be, as it is ever increasingly, what is SCOTUS gonna do?

Oh, I'm well aware of that despicable school in the Upstate. That whole area is still riddled with prejudice.

Absolutely! We're still a bit away from being solely reliant, in the general sense, on renewables, but they're fantastic at grid supplimentation! We should be heavily investing in both, but much more in nuclear, as it has higher energy yield and is able to meet demand better. Having an EE degree has proven more stressful in recent years with the administrations not doing enough for energy demand in America. It's no small stretch to say, we are decades behind on demand and infrastructure. We've punted the ball so many times that it's a monumental feat to move quickly enough without a large investment in the grid, and even then lol

You're welcome! I have a Citadel connection, so I know more about the school's history than I ever cared to learn.

Edit: If I remember correctly, The Citadel was the last military school to admit women. Way to go, South Carolina!
