Technical standards, like those from @w3c@w3c.social, aim to improve #privacy, and solutions include a taxonomy of tracking purposes and standardized consent recording to enhance compliance and user control.

After the publication of two W3C statements -- the #ethical web principles and the #privacy guidelines --, the TAG is notably working on an "explainer explainer" and new findings, such as a finding on #AI. The group has also started a "TAG Associates program" to include external experts in their work.
