They will just claim it "can be used to create illegal pornography" and ban it entirely. And "fix faces" will be a high-risk AI because it can detect faces. 🤦

Only idea I've got to combat this is to make it available to as many people as possible so they can speak in favor of it. Other ideas welcome.

X11 vs Wayland in c/[email protected]

I currently see no advantage in fighting the nvidia driver to get wayland to run - especially if you use your rig for gaming. If the argument is stability then a flaky wayland is no better than the ancient X11.

Is it theoretically possible to replace your prepackaged package manager and all other packages and run a different ones in c/[email protected]

curious, why would you want that? the packages are usually built by the distro maintainers for the distro, so if you switch from, say apt to dnf you'd have to take care of repackaging yourself.
