We all know US infrastructure is so decrepid you can't cross bridges in anything.

I've read the entire thread. that person did call you a guy and a dude, and their response is a pretty sad face-saving excuse.

The way you have constructed this post reads to me like a vague call to action detailing the crimes of a person and group of persons. This may not be your intent, but at least one person interpreted it that way. You may wish to reflect on that in your future posts.

Your feelings are real and valid, but your actions based on them only seem to be making it worse for yourself.

"Predator" vs "extremely intelligant" is a wierd dicotomy to make. Many mammallian predators are extremely intelligant, such as most canids, large bears, and felids.

On the other hand, sleeping is an energy conservation strategy for many niches. Obligate carnivores tend to sleep a lot, because its the best thing to conserve energy if you aren't activel hunting, ane the caloric payoff to a successful hunt is high enough that you don't need to spend all your time doing it.

Many leaf-eating mammals also spend a lot of time sleeping, and have even evolved extreme energy conservation measures, such as sloths having a unique muscle fiber arrangement and reversed wrist tendons

10 microns is .4 thou, about the width of a cotton fiber. Its possible to machine those tolerances, but very time consuming as machine maintainance steps up. Its also small enough that the thermal expansion of the sheets will be larger than that

I think this map is honestly off scale. Even minor metro areas exceed the population of wyoming. It should just be a big empty space

Statistically, it is more risk than a car. But like any risk, you can mitigate parts of it. As mentioned, accidents have patterns. Learn how to navigate intersections, how to identify and prepare for potential right-of-way violations, and how to reduce your speed during a corner. Take at least a basic rider course. Understand your limits. Over confidence is extremely dangerous, particularly for new riders. Never mix bikes and intoxicants.

This sounds like a lot, but its really a few hours of work and taking it easy while you learn.
