I get so hyperfocused that absolutely nothing else is in my brain. After a certain amount of time, if I have to get up and shift focus on something else, my brain is done for. The mental exhaustion hits me. Occasionally I feel the onset. I can definitely relate.

How do you add the icon? I have it downloaded as a firefox web app on android.
It boosts the comment because of the algorithm. I don't know if people do it knowingly when commenting "this" or "underrated comment" but it does have an effect.

DAE is "does anyone else."

They're complaining that Lemmy is ugly while they're going through piracy-related websites like those aren't a 2000's era hot mess.
I love how Lemmy looks because it's like old reddit. After only ever using RiF, the official app is visually awful. Their own app lags while scrolling because there's so much shit. Forums aren't supposed to be pretty, they're supposed to be practical.
I'm not hip enough for these bean memes. Gotta dig up relics to share for my more simple brothers and sisters, like myself.
This community is text based. Communities like c/pics are image based. OP wants communities that are focused on discussion rather than sharing images.

I think lower quality, true posts would be much more valuable to L. We don't come here to read creative writing. I'd much rather read a post about a stupid, passive aggressive dispute between two neighbors where OP can get real advice about their real situation rather than read rage bait.
