While I do wish they’d cut back their spending in order to build up enough of an endowment to be good forever, that whole thread just reads like a crappy hit piece where someone is mad that Wikimedia contributes to social and more liberal causes.

My opinion is probably different than a lot of folks’. But when we’ve got billionaires using their ridiculous amounts of money to buy the United States and trying to do the same elsewhere in the world, I’d rather keep supporting an org that aligns with beliefs that aren’t fascist, racist, evil, etc. and Wikipedia is one of the best parts of the internet still, so I like supporting them in general.

That being said, I appreciate the read, it was interesting.

They’re implying that they were purposefully absent to avoid actually voting no on paper, but to accomplish the same goal of voting no and making sure the bill failed

Curious what you find on open secrets. Stranahan’s is one of my go to whiskeys

Stranahans in CO Woodinville in WA

Are both 2 solid choices from blue states.

Some folks also like 291 distillery in CO, they’re ok. Not as good in my mind as the other 2

I don’t feel like the 4000 series ever really got to easily available at MSRP prices.

But on top of that I know a lot of folks skipped the last couple generations because the scalping was outrageous.

I hate it though. They’re not wrong that the companies selling or making GPUs could easily solve the problem, but they just don’t care.

Yup looks like it. Stupid app lol

I don’t know about that. They literally introduced time travel and then never bring it up again except for one sentence where “oh they all broke”.

Like don’t get me wrong it’s not horrible but it’s also not great. It is good enough for a kids story which is what it is, not something to build your life off of

It was audible he spoke up about and released his secret books on other audiobooks platforms like Spotify and some others.

God I loved that game

I am so, so excited. I've talked so much with my friends before how awesome it would be to have an ATLA style anime of Cradle, I really hope this is awesome.

Love this series, literally led me to read every book Will Wight's written.

Will Wight's cradle series is one of my all time favorites. It got me to then binge read every other book the man has written.

The best part of this Kickstarter (IMO) is while reading his books the first time I just kept thinking how AMAZING the series would be as an animation and even talked with my friends about how we really wanted something like ATLA for this series.

But if I'm honest, if that show or movie was made by the normal folks who always seem to destroy my favorite pieces of literature when adapting them to film, I'd be sad. So I'm really glad that this is being done straight by the author.
