The article is from 2013. Many years before the Steam Deck. I get where they are coming from but this article is extremely outdated.

I've been playing this game a lot the past few days. it's just plain fun. A nice refreshing FPS in the era of BRs and battle passes.

It's becoming painfully clear that federation is the most confusing part for new people. It felt less so with Mastodon but the Reddit migration seems to be bigger. (I don't know since I was already on Mastodon a few years before the Muskaning) I think we need an easier way for people to understand how instances work.

I have a feeling you won't be able to find different keycaps with those same side legends. I'm you want different keycaps you'll probably have to get used to not having the side legends. You can probably make yourself a little cheat sheet with the FN layer actions to help you remember.

I thought I'd chime in as well as someone who owns multiple Alice style boards. I personally love the layout, but functionally and aesthetically. In my experience it's not too hard to adjust to the Alice layout from a normal staggered layout. I can swap between both layouts really easily.
