Yes. I'm 43, married to my college sweetheart, we have three boys, a house in the suburbs, own a business, take care of my family, and am responsible for everything. Becoming completely independent of any outside help is part of it. Having others that depend on you to handle anything that comes along is the next part. Becoming an adult isn't a switch, it's a gradient. Having kids definitely catapults you along, though. I don't know how grown up I would be right now if I were unmarried and childless, but I'm guessing less so. Above all else, becoming responsible for an entire family is the thing that did it for me, and even that was a gradient.

Dial in your temperature first with a temperature tower. Make sure you set the temperature changes at the correct heights in your slicer. Once you have selected the best temperature, then print a retraction tower. Make sure you set the retraction changes at the correct heights in your slicer. I have an ender 3 pro, and ended up at 200° with 2mm retraction. Remember to dial in one setting at a time. Best of luck!

I have this very same issue, and I found that Scrubbing Bubbles worked well. You just need something below to catch the filth that will run off. The bubbles penetrate the porous surface and draw out the soot.
If you can't get scrubbing bubbles, then baking soda and vinegar would create the same kind of bubbling action but you'll need the right proportions so as not to leave a baking soda residue.

I watched CHEP's video on this method but I've yet to try it. I've been perfecting OP's method but now that I have a color laser printer and transparency film, I'm keen to attempt the toner transfer method. Thoughts on the toner transfer method?

Sometimes I print TPU with my Ender 3 Pro, which, with its bowden tube, makes stringing and oozing all but unavoidable, and as a result, I print just one item at a time as you suggested.
I do this as well, but add in a 10 port USB charger and some USB cables so I can charge all my devices.
