As a ND queer communist I have never felt more comfortable and welcome posting than on hexbear. Their mutual aid comm is highly active and an immensely helpful place for many people. It's an adorable community, they get a bad rap by people that come in arguing in bad faith who then run away to shame the hateful 'tankies' on their main instance like this post here.

Hexbear is the only place online I've found that I feel most comfortable speaking my mind as a neurodivergent queer communist. People act like hexbear is some harsh authoritarian zone, it just simply doesn't condone chauvinism, transphobia, or let people post western propaganda without it being questioned. Some people react poorly to the way they are responded to on hexbear when they post some bullshit that we've heard and debunked 1000 times already.

I don't think they should do that but if they really believed he was Hitler 2.0 why wouldn't they? They have no problem killing people everyday.
I don't think we should lose faith in people, that's what all those in power want. The American people are constantly propagandized, most people can't trust what information is true or false especially when it comes to politics. I just think all the blaming of average progressive voters I've seen is misplaced.
