I see, you just don't know what you are talking about, my mistake.

Plenty of us volunteer too, it's not like people can only do one thing. Some people don't have time but they have money, others vise versa. People do what they can. Why are you so hostile to this?

Yeah some, there are fundraisers for people in Palestine or people in global south countries that post plenty as well. I wasn't saying that was the most effective of the ways people are trying to help, just one form

It's as simple as this, my mom explained it to me at 8 years old: "A lot of parents give their kids money for good grades or doing chores, but that teaches them to do things for the money and not because it's the right thing to do."

It's a habit, like a drug addiction, your brain is rewarded by profit and molds itself around that, altering your view of right and wrong.

Yes actually, the mutual_aid comm is one of the most active on hexbear, I have personally helped comrades through it. Others have posted many times about the food they and their crew made for the community for free, or union organization efforts, or plenty of other actions.

It's just a suggestion, and I wasn't saying that there were necessarily a lot of fascists on the fediverse, I meant antifascist action in general. In my view it would be more useful to put in energy to fight against that or poverty or hunger or any other issue than just dwelling on and shaming internet leftists, if one's goal is improve the condition of society.

People like this manager hire undocumented immigrants because they can pay them less and they can abuse them under the threat of deportation. Are you suggesting an inconsistency in his behavior? Majority of immigrants do enter at ports of entry actually, and furthermore, go fuck yourself.

I'd rather people who say shit like your comment be deported, if I supported any sort of deportations.

don’t get a good faith exception if I truly thought that the speed limit was actually 75 instead of 55

If you have a decent lawyer this is possible I'm pretty sure. Essentially the wealthy do get a good faith exception.

Part of me is leaning towards Luigi being the guy and he planned on getting arrested with this 'too good to be true' evidence in this little known PA town, because he was banking on them bungling it and he knew he would have a good legal team making it seem planted, or at the least have widespread public support if he did get charged.

Every election in my life has been 'the most important in history ' or whatever. As a brown person you should have more awareness that no vote, no established politician will save us from the right, that Democrats are hardly even opposition anymore and are simply a donation gathering organization putting on the airs of a relevent party.

There is no political motivation for anyone in power to slow the rise of fascism, or to stop a genocide going on in Palestine or one being prepared in the US. There is no point in acting like Kamala or anyone in the US political class has any chance of preventing the numerous crises building, or even a desire to. The sooner more on the left can recognize this, the sooner we can start working on actual solutions.

Which are you referring to? There are still thousands of Palestinian people in Israeli detention, many indefinitely with no charges, including hundreds of children.
