I liked the thorough explanation of the decision process, but I think universal approval is a paralysing requirement. This risks stagnation.

Fortunately there are no ethical problems with obtaining oil for petrol-powered cars.

Most timber that includes the heart, or core, of the tree will eventually split/check like that.

I think it still looks awesome though. Please post the final result when you're done!

Australians are very sorry about Murdoch but please don't send him back, we don't want him either. Cheers.

Love to see it. More first-party support for HASS.

We had a big solar array and oversized battery installed about a year ago. I have custom control logic setup that lets me discharge the battery to the grid when the electricity price spikes at night. We are on a electricity retailer that provides real-time pricing. This system means we draw nearly zero power from the grid, nearly zero demand charges, and usually earn about $3 to $5 a day selling at night. About once every 2 months there is a huge price spike and we earn $20 to $80 during the night which is a nice cherry on the top.

On cloudy days my logic charges the battery from the grid when power is cheap so we don't draw power at night when it's expensive.

Thanks! I appreciate this kind of information. I haven't really begun to do any non-stock stuff with my steam deck but I will one day.
