I clicked on the page to read it and was immediately greeted with a blocked message. Maybe because I'm in Japan? I have no idea.

Why have I been blocked?

This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks. The action you just performed triggered the security solution. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.

I'd expect to see this with humanoid robots too as they take over more and more human jobs.

I have the feeling that humanoid robots are only really a good fit in places designed for human(oid)s. We might see things change to be more optimized for the optimal form factor of machine for that job. I suppose it's possible for maintenance/health/safety reasons we don't but I don't see health and safety being important to the people doing this.

Not exclusive to English, but English definitely has a ton of things that just follow no pattern (even by root language, though if you know that, when it was borrowed in, and what vowel shifts it did/not have, you might have a chance).

This did immediately make me think of "Simone Giertz" from Sweeden whose name's pronunciation sounded like 'yecht' to me.

mapswithoutokinawa (and a bunch of other places). Looks like only Tokyo-to is growing, but I am somewhat colorblind.

I have at least one family member who definitely believes that there are foreigners coming over, stealing opportunities, and getting free rides. I nope'd out of the conversation before it could go any further but, unless they suddenly changed, they believe whatever newsmax says.

Player? Easy. Scarf? Easy. Wearing a scarf? That depends on a lot of factors such as which part of the body, how the models were made and rigged, etc.

Granted. All door animations are now forced cutscenes.

I've owned one for about 1.5 years now. Generally pretty alright. Apparently not getting one with turbo was a mistake since it can struggle with multiple people on the expressway or anywhere rather hilly (which people with turbo don't seem to experience); doubly so if trying to use the aircon in the 30+ temps with high humidity. It also feels rather unstable in winds, particularly at expressway speeds. That said, I'm generally pleased.

Well, not being a very-much-finished space program would be a good start.

Admin is out of their area due to work and the firewall server or something died completely preventing them from remotely accessing anything to bring it back up and also preventing using their backup (per a post I read a few hours ago).

I'm a dude in his 40s. If anything, I've gotten more empathetic and easily moved over the years. I have cried at movies and over books.

Terminator 2 with only John Conner as a human.
