I recently spoke to a police seargent at a wedding (I would not have otherwise obv.) and they kept complaining about how no one wants to be a cop anymore and there are shortages in all nearby districts, and that people really, really don't want to be cops on reserves anymore because the tribes hate them.

Turns out that the lack of cops is due to peer pressure. They aren't getting recruits because anyone who joins gets bullied by their friends and socially ostracized. Cops have such a bad rap now that even raising pay doesn't always work because good pay can't override being a pariah.

That's the thing, the speed limit for trucks is 60mph. This guy was speeding over the limit with two semi trailers full of wood pallets it was insane.
