Yes, as they should. In a functioning democracy that would motivate the taxpayers/voters to pay attention and motivate those in power to minimize expensive mistakes.

In theory, anyone could forge a badge, claim to be ice, and literally kidnap people into sex trafficking or slavery and we wouldnt find out for quite a long time. That's in addition to the already dangerous prospect of having unidentifiable police who are unaccountable.
There should be passed ASAP. Should become a national law too but not gonna happen with this government. We need to pass this on a local and state level as much as possible.
Yea what I read was that he was "pointing a rifle at protesters".
Don't aim a gun at a person if you are not ready to fight and die.
I would argue this is not only self defence, but public defence.
Edit: looks like its not completely clear if he was brandishing the rifle or just open carying, obviously my argument doesn't technically hold water if he was just open carrying.
I would also argue that open carying a weapon well know for use in mass shootings right next to a large crowd is probably a dumb idea even if it's legal to do.
If they stay compliment with Trump, they won't need to be purged anyways as they are complient at that point.
If they pick the right moment to resist, they can at least tie up lawyers and/or millitarty personnel up with court marshalls, spending money, resources, and manpower to keep them in military prison, ect.
And besides that, its literally in their oath to disobey unlawful orders, so if something is blatently unconstitutional and immoral I would expect every good soldier to follow their oath rather than their orders.
This is another (illegal I would argue) border phone search. If you come to the us as a non citizen, I would highly reccomend getting a burner phone at this point.
In theory, you have the right to lock your phone with a pin or password and tell them to fuck off if they ask you for it, but I wouldn't depend on that right.
Your point is so important that I don't think it can be stressed enough.
Nonviolent protests are more popular in public opinion. Public opinion gets you more people on your side. More people on your side is more power, and when the regime starts cracking down on peaceful protests, it will be easier to get more people to fight than it would be of we advocate for violence from the start.
Tump lacks the dignity that even an actual king would have, I think he would try choking any decent jester with his tiny little hands within 5 minutes of their appointment because he can't tolerate the tiniest bit of critisism.
Then when that inevitably fails due to tiny baby hand syndrome he would deport the jester to El Salvador.
