Is it possible to fully repair, ya of course. But the labor + parts, and higher chance of the electronics being weakened/damaged...it's a corporate device anyways.

Bottom cover is metal, the top cover plastics broke off with the henges. Then there's the cable damage. But I'll def look into the puddy.

And nah, it's being "retired"

Former hughes repair guy here. If it's your only choice, sure. But it's utter trash. It's susceptible to so many environmental conditions. Certain geographical areas can experience various service levels too. Data caps will sneak up on you faster than you realize too. Not to mention the pole or tripod mount that has to be installed, yard dug up and holes drilled into the house. Seen plenty of tripod mounts be ripped off a roof, damaging the roof in the process.

Anyways...avoid any satellite isp if possible.

Unless there's a scripted failure event, it usually turns to this anyways. Shoot first XD

Don't play it? Who cares? Ya it's kinda weird, ill never play it or install it. That's that, why try shaming people for stuff like this?

It does, naps was a last ditch effort. Unfortunately the clients software requires twain support =\

Had a client today with a scanner issue and this happens.

This is fine... (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

Trying to create an image of my servers OS drive. After 24+ hrs it was still going, and at smaller and smaller speeds.

Luckily the real data is on another healthy drive. Just sucks to lose configs and such. It was a setup that started off as a learning experiment that ended up in 'production' at the house.

I can't blame the customer here. Ya, that's the USB in the Ethernet port.
