Ahh sorry, should have found that myself (I use Kagi, liking it more than DDG).

NUC sounds good too, a friend of mine had one too.

Thanks for your reply!

Would be good if they found a cure. One of my biggest fears is catching it. First time covid it took me a month to recover and it was by far the worst I've ever felt.

First time we played Pandemic we thought we had to cure all diseases, turns out you only need to find the four antidotes. Then it became a lot easier.

And, yes, I also noticed it becomes more quiet here. I'm still casually browsing Reddit and it's still as active as it was before all the protests. I hate the app and website though, I miss Baconreader. It seems more negative though.

It's also a downside. Now we have bought a Leaf I never want to buy an ICE again. But here in NZ there aren't many second hand options for a reasonable price. Luckily prices are dropping.

The first article is specifically about Tesla which is a reason I don't recommend them. The second article is not specific to EVs, it talks about all modern cars. Build quality non existent? Have you tried an EV yourself? I drive a 2016 Leaf and it feels better built than ICEs from that time.

I use the app Liftoff. I don't know Memmy, sorry. Just try a couple and pick one you like :) lots of options.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, work culture is another thing. I was so stressed back in NL, literally counting down hours before the next holiday. Sure there is stress here but not at the same level.

Hmm good point. We just try to avoid non rechargable batteries. Will give it a try. Thanks.

The bomb throwing etc indeed only happens occasionally, Eg at NY eve. It happened in more than just the 3 biggest cities though, it also happened in small towns across the country.

I've got friends there who are firemen, they can't go to certain neighborhoods without asking the police for support. Every day. Otherwise they will be harassed or people will throw rocks etc.

I only wanted to point out that this very rarely happens here in NZ.

Sorry if I made it sound like a war zone, that's obviously not the case.
