Yeah, I had no expectations and I like it. I always get disappointed when I have high expectations.
Tbh I'm mainly disappointed in the graphics of the surroundings.

Thanks, guess will block more communities.
Discovering new communities is still hard, right? The All feed here on Lemmy.nz only shows communities where at least one person has subscribed?
Thanks! Will have a look around Beehaw.
Some non technical topics I'm interested in are ice cream making and fitness. Also I like to read uplifting news, there is a community, but the comments are predominantly negative so I've unsubscribed.
I had a look at the trailer and I didn't like the style. But perhaps it is a nice game, I've been wrong before when just watching the trailer. Put Gris on my Play later. Thanks for the tip!
I really don't understand all the negative comments. It feels like a very fun game and I can't wait to play it again.
Thanks, but I'm on XSX :) PC gaming is on my future wish list though
Yup, day one for MS exclusives. It's awesome.
Initial load time was very long, after that it was okay. Playing on xsx.
I've played it for two hours or so today and so far loving it! 30fps is noticeable, but much better than other games and not an issue to me while I usually can't stand it. It all feels immense and very fun, I enjoy exploring and looting and talking to people.
Graphics are a bit underwhelming to be honest.
Also I couldn't spot a minimap for stations to find eg shops, unless I'm missing something.
The fast travel feels perfect to me, not an issue like others described.
Exciting game. 9/10
Hmm yeah you're right, doesn't show a cloud dependency. However, I found it still very slow.
I have it standing up right and it can control the heat pump fine which is above it. It could also control the TV which was on the same height about 4 meters away (as long as nobody was in between). But I do experience that sometimes the heat pump doesn't pick it up, e.g. in my morning automation to turn it on, I'm just setting it twice. It's rare though, it works 97% of the time.
Good idea! Have a look at the smartir integration, which has all the codes for some heat pumps. Not mine, so had to create the JSON manually with all commands, which is quite a bit of work. Smartir integration allows you to use it as a thermostat in HA.
Thanks for considering starting a community. Yes, think it's better to start discussion in existing communities.
