Equinox is one of the frames I play frequently, and their versatility is a big reason for that. Disregarding subsumes (you can make any frame good with them), they really have two big issues:

  1. Day & night form - Their biggest asset is their biggest weakness, they can't really survive while doing damage and vice versa.
  2. Mod Slots - As others have discussed, they're extremely multiple stat dependant. But to make them really pop you really want at least one augment per build (I usually run two)

That said, in a default loadout (no subsumes) they've really got 3 builds, all based around their augments:

  1. Duality - Clone & gun, enough said
  2. Calm & Frenzy - A build that maxes range with some strength to make both forms decent at debuffing and cc, needs some external survivability or a subsume
  3. ET PP - Energy Transfer and Peaceful Provocation allows creates a really nice gameplay loop and is my go to default equinox build, which I will elaborate on below.

ET PP allows us to get into a flow of : Day Form > Provoke > Snapshot Maim power strength > Night Form > Pacify. This allows us to benefit from increased power strength for Mend's shield restoration. Obviously this also gives us Day Form > Maim and a way to stack provoke even higher for more shield restore.

Yes, you could make this build better & more comfy with pillage or gloom, but I like her default kit.

Overall, Equinox is genuinely a very fun frame that can play very simply or more like something closer to Harrow. I'll finish off with the following:

STOP SUBSUMING OVER METAMORPHOSIS, JUST PLAY A DIFFERENT FRAME!!!

Qorvex is thematically pretty cool, and has big Cherno Alpha energy. I feel like using any energy colour except a light blue (to evoke Cherenkov radiation) feels wrong.

Unfortunately, he runs counter to how hyper mobile modern Warframe is. Not really his fault, but it does suck to have to : Pillar > Wall > Blast, when I could just gun.

He's by no stretch a bad frame though, and the containment wall augment for armour strip in combination with his passive can make some nice combos. Also built in PSF and status immunity is nice.

Of course this all changes with subsumes, but you can make any frame good enough with subsumes.

Meme aside, it's not that big a deal. East Asia gets a very mixed representation in western media, but it's still better than the (effectively) no representation that is typical of SEA (bar like one or two countries).

Inclusion of things like the Keris and races like the Wayang are like a huge breath of fresh air, especially when "Eastern" typically manifests as one of three countries.

I'm holding out hope that a fantasy setting does an interpretation of a toyol or pontianak though.

Yeap

The best way to describe it (imo) is: Tea-yen Sh-yea

I've heard variations in pronunciations for the pinyin "x" though. I personally pronounce it without an emphasis on the h (s-yea), which I believe is fairly typical for Malaysian Mandarin speakers.

Funny meme but genuine question: is it not typical to pay for therapy before the session?

I'm charged as I book the session here in Malaysia, but I'm curious as to peoples' experiences geographically and in the private & public sector.

Every time this list is brought up, I always forget darksiders 2 is on it

Some people are seriously overpaid though. Kotick's severance package being able to pay for the combined total of TLOU2 and GTA IV is crazy

Everyone picks a streaming service for their needs. YT music has a large library bundled with ad free YT, Apple Music is a natural choice if you're in the Apple ecosystem and Spotify exists too.

I recently switched to Tidal from Spotify and haven't looked back. The UI is familiar enough, having lossless is really nice, and not having my phone lag whenever I open my library is great.

Then there's the other factor of how much each streaming service pays it's artists. To make 1000$ in revenue, this is how many streams an artist needs:

YT Music : 500,000 ($0.002 per stream)

Spotify : 314,465 ($0.00318 per stream)

Apple : 125,000 ($0.008 per stream)

Tidal : 77,882 ($0.01284 per stream)

Granted, musicians almost never make their money from streaming services. However, if an artist were to have that 314k streams on Tidal instead of Spotify, they'd make 4 times as much money.

Can confirm the denial. Archery also works a set of muscles not often used (unless you do rows), and Portsmouths can be surprisingly tiring with 40lb + non compound bows.
