RCS is shit, with SMS at least my phone comes with a messenger and I can download one from F-Droid. With RCS only one proprietary app supports it and it functions weirdly on GrapheneOS. In its current state it's practically a downgrade at this point and considering how bad SMS is that says a lot.

I'm in Dallas and it fucking sucks, tons of suburban sprawl, tons of roads but public transit is barely functional and hard to design efficiently, a lot of the roads don't even have sidewalks or they just randomly end, the roads are designed in a way that promotes aggressive driving making it even more dangerous for cyclists and pedestrians, the local business scene here is depressing outside of restaurants and entertainment but there's like 20 Walmarts.

last time I was browsing that sub there were people complaining that underpaid gen z cashiers weren't greeting them at grocery stores (which btw nobody greets me at grocery stores regardless of what generation they're from so it's a ridiculous thing to complain about, then I got mass downvoted for pointing that out ofc)
