Tea will taste different depending on what temperature water it's brewed in, but I can't think of any reason the water itself would be different.
e: The material of the vessel would matter. Perhaps you like the taste imbued by your kettle, which would be lacking if you heated the water directly in a mug.
I believe they were engaging in irony, accusing Dr. King of having been a violent thug when he should have protested peacefully like Dr. King, to highlight the necessity of directed violence and the flawed thinking of complete pacifism. I believe they simply worded themselves in a way that was lost on many readers.
Self-Made Boys is a reimagining of the Great Gatsby by queer and mixed-raced author Anna-Marie McLemore. It has mystery, love geometry, good humor, and great pacing.
It touched on some pretty heavy topics, but always managed to make me feel really good about myself rather than depressed or triggered. The author made me feel connected to a wider community through the characters' connections with each other, and the supportive ways injustices and traumas were addressed.
Five stars.
One time on IRC the topic of what Boxing Day even is came up, and this guy said in seriousness that it's to memorialize the Boxer Rebellion, and we had a big fight about it. He backed up his claim by pointing out that the horse from Animal Farm was an allegory for said uprising, so he wasn't just making things up.
There's no detriment to either players or developers if people do a single playthrough on their own and then watch others' storyline choices after.
I only played through Life is Strange once, but I wouldn't have bought it in the first place if I didn't feel I would have meaningful interaction with the story. Story-focused games with only a single narrative thread are much more likely to get the YouTube treatment from me.
