I lost my closest friend a few months ago to alcoholism. I'm just reeling from the pain, seeing the hurt from his family, and getting along in this world without him.
I see these posts and I want you to know how much your loved ones appreciate and depend on you, even if you dont realize it.
Alcohol will kill you. Do this for your family/friends, and do it for yourself.

Yeah, I check in often, and the lines of communication are open. Helps to have no lying (in general), but especailly to my kids (which unfortunately needs to be said because so many people feel like it is ok).
