Totally. I love group indeterminate tomatoes and watching them get huge.

This is interesting. I had never heard the other side of this story...

It’s a bummer that blocking ads prevents some creators from getting money, but I’m not losing any sleep over it.

I don’t mind sponsored segments in videos and podcasts. However, the ads on YouTube and on many websites are invasive and annoying. That’s why I block them, and I won’t be turning it off.

Generally, I prefer when the original article is linked, and then the archive.is version is linked in the comments.

Lol. The “you’re a winner and a loser” award goes to spez!

This is true for quite a few other things as well. For instance, “hertz” really just means “per second”. However, it’s easier to write/type “Hz” instead of “s^-1”.

Yeah, probably better to be drunk when you’re castrating Ukrainian soldiers rather than treating them like human beings.

My parents did this when I was in college, and I used the card to pay for tuition and books. Yes, I was incredibly lucky to have my parents pay for everything.

Because I was an authorized user on my dad’s Amex he had had for decades, my credit history is technically older than I am.

As OP mentioned, this helped my credit score a lot. If you’re able to do this, it’s a huge help down the line.

I think tomatoes are one of those things that it’s not possible to grew too many of. They are sooo great compared to store bought, and I love every way of eating them.

Cucumbers on the other hand? I quickly get sick of those.

Same. Much easier to use the progressive web app, and it seems to function better than Mlem.

Once the mobile apps are more mature I’ll probably switch over, but for now the progressive web app works best for me
