I'm out of the loop here, what was the reasoning behind agreeing to the manchild's terms?

The difference is that Ubuntu Pro is free, and the ads are only 1 line in the terminal

But even Red Hat offers that subscription for free for up to 16 machines

To be fair “luckin” and “coti” coffee is genuinely leagues ahead in taste, and not more expensive than Starbucks, so I guess it was coming sooner or later

I feel like it’s not necessarily about “too many” as long as you don’t get hurt doing it, but rather it’s a question of time - 5x20 with something you can do easily will not really get you better or faster results than 3x10 with a weight that really makes you work, and the latter takes less time.

In my opinion it wouldn’t work everywhere - I was surprised to see how orderly people were in Seoul when I was there a couple years ago. No matter how crowded, everyone was standing in lines, waiting - even if they were watching Netflix or YouTube in the meantime.

Here, we are actively warned against using phones or headsets when crossing the streets (signs painted on the street), exactly because some drivers watch TikTok and whatnot WHILE driving. I find it sad that here pedestrians have to accommodate careless drivers.

Nevertheless, I like the idea, just hope it won’t be a thing here before we can get things to be a bit more orderly on the streets.

Don’t let Musk learn about twitter alternatives, or they will make twitter registration and active usage a visa requirement

I mean, I bet there are at the very least hundreds of people with the exact same name, so it’s not like you can really tell who the article is about - if that’s even their real name

I should be happy about this idea, but knowing big tech all too well, phones will become less and less affordable, the stricter the EU gets.

Then again, this way maybe phones will become usable for longer, so price-value ratio might become slightly better.
