First of, this is not a call to revert the process but to adhere to what was publicly announced, and not some last-minute backroom deal for authoritarian control. Second, those companies are mostly European, in addition to the hundreds of European cybersecurity experts who are signatories. Third, your solution is horrible.

I have it open all the time, exactly for this reason. 15 years and going.

In what way is speaking against ceasefire in an ongoing genocide not a hard-on for genocide-statement?

Here you go

"Now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire. We must support Israel in efforts to eliminate the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered innocent men, women, and children."

That's very comprehensive, 100s of pages of technical and impact reporting. I'm not trying to undermine the project, was just curious and hoping for a ELI5 kind of thing.

Impressive scale, with mills the size of Rockefeller center and the farm's extent equal to London. Still only 5 percent of UK's energy consumption when they are operating at max capacity. Two things come to mind:

  • What was the cost in terms of climate gases to build and install these, and what are the plans for their eventual decommissioning?
  • What are the impacts on atmospheric flows, especially if this was scaled up to cover a larger part of UK consumption, and joined by similar installations from other countries?

What is this a source of? The article is paywalled and the preview mostly concerns Lenin's ambition for a stronger democracy.

Please show where that is being said by "Lenin, and that". On the other hand you have Margaret Thatcher:

‘Economics are the method; the object is to change the heart and soul’

It's about methodology more than research questions, although they are of course linked. Incorporating digital methods in your humanities project, like GIS, 3D modeling or ABM, will quickly land you in digital humanities. Remember though, humanities have a lot of theory and methodology you might be unfamiliar with as a CS student, so teaming up with someone who has those skills but lack in programming etc. will synergize in this field.
