@ArtieShaw @xilliah @TingoTenga Of all the "hospitality" people in ST (Guinan, Quark, Neelix), Neelix was by far the worst. He was just annoying. No wonder poor Tuvok couldn't stand him (and then they got merged :eyeroll: ).

@MaxHardwood @aksdb And the computer refuses to disclose crucial information because it has feelings. :eyeroll:

@maino82 @oehm Agreed. The show because of Shohreh Aghdashloo, whose casting was a stroke of genius. And the books because it's a great story. Silo (on Apple TV) is also great. #ScienceFiction

@KelsonV Yeah but the ratio of feelings / rest of the plot was way off, for my taste. #StarTrek

@Ministar I agree with most of this (and #DoctorWho had the same issue at some point... how many times can the universe be rebooted???). But the whole thing has become about people's feelings, including the dang computer, like you said, right when there is a mortal danger at hand. A lot of the characters have become just bundles of feelings and it's just not that interesting. #StarTrek #STDiscovery. That is where the other series (LD, Prodigy, and SNW) are much more successful, in my opinion.
