I mean, when I first learned of "liberal" and "Conservative" justices I knew the system was broken.

Provincial forces being too strong does worry me as well, but as long as they are not militarized it might not be so bad. I wish people were a bit more wise to the bad people in our political system like Smith though. This whole politics as a team sport needs to end, "lifelong conservative or liberal" or whatever shouldn't even be a thing..

I thought I liked how the RCMP operates, but following this missing child investigation out east makes me really worried for their ability to do any sort of police work compotently. They are supposed to be the specialists but it seems like they have no idea how to do a investigation. I'm hoping they just drop a massive dump with all the incriminating evidence you would want but doesn't seem likely.

It either needs better oversight, or make it smaller and offload some to the province's / regions. I like the idea of national specialists for these high profile things though, but doesn't seem to be how current RCMP operate.

Indigenous police forces is probably something that has should have existed for a long time now. From what I see a softer police presence with more social supports is needed everywhere.

Don't let the console peasants bring you down to their level with these silly comparisons...

But on a serious note two totally different devices. Switch is a toy, steamdeck is a tool that plays games. I have two steam decks and two switches, but don't think Il be doing switch 2 until the oled refresh.

Steamdeck 2 on the other hand is a day one purchase as long as they don't follow Nintendo's lead and downgrade our screen.

I'm not sure if I am just picky but I have literally tried everything on brand new wifi 6 and access points and it just never is that perfect feeling, I always notice a tiny bit of input lag and I'm not sure if it's possible to fix it at all. Playable, but I just can't do it - miles ahead of cloud gaming still.

The only reason windows is fixing this is because they want to keep harvesting your data, it's not for the customers.
