Yep, you have a very palpable sense of progression in these sports.
That problem that looked impossible a couple months ago suddenly feels doable and eventually almost easy.

Lifting is ok, going TO the gym sucks.

I've always had sporty hobbies so at least I'm somewhat in shape. Over the years I did karate, parkour, bouldering, football, volleyball, and ive been deeeep onto hema for a long time now.

I just love having an activity that is basically "playing" but very physical. Even when i feel like I'm not progressing, I'm still having a good time and get to completely exhaust myself once a week.

See thats where im with OP.

Lots of people do switch every 1-2 years.

And swapping a battery costs idk 40€ and an afternoon, full reset costs nothing and takes 20 minutes. Why would i generate that much trash and spend a thousand bucks on the latest shit thats 99% the same instead?

if CMs weren’t effective, they wouldn’t be using them.

Well as i wrote, they pledged yesterday not to use any. So uhh

Yeah sry i jumped the gun on hitting post.

I meant to add: it's tragic enough that mines are deployed so much in this conflict.

I personally think saying cluster munitions will end it quicker ergo result in less uxos is a bit simplified a->b thinking that rarely works out in reality.

I think UA should absolutely aim to limit uxos from their side as much as realisticly possible, and i dont know if CMs are as big of a power swing as you make em out to be.

Fortunately (in my eyes), they pledged not to use these measures already

How does that relate to it?

"there are already mines so spreading more is good"?

Both exist, but what you're describing is not that.

Quick google of "bionics" brings up the definition:

bionics, science of constructing artificial systems that have some of the characteristics of living systems.

Biomimetics:

Biomimetics is an interdisciplinary field in which principles from engineering, chemistry and biology are applied to the synthesis of materials, synthetic systems or machines that have functions that mimic biological processes.

The concept is called bionics if you're generally interested in more examples!

Generations of having a chance to blow up children. vs maybe a short term push of the front, maybe.

Idk if I'd take the trade. With conventional weapons UA is already kicking ass.

I live in a city where 500-1000kg WWII bomb finds are a common occurrence. Every few weeks at least a whole block gets evacuated for a day. And those are easier to find, less randomly spread, more reliable.
