That's a wonderful message.

I can't think of another explanation. An upgrade should fix it, but whether Google will do an update or not is another issue.

Out of curiosity, why isn't this stuff done by default?

Where should I be looking? Nothing on Github, Telegram or even Google.

Nice UI, good options, zero ads and Sponsor Block.

None, I just missed the announcement and wondered if there were any issues or benefits to switching.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Me neither. All I could find was a desktop theme.

The fact that you're sharing is already enough

Is this just cosmetic or is there a real benefit to the lack of corner?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

I like it here too.

Don't think I'll ever stop wishing that Lineage matched Google's version numbers

I wouldn't expect perfect synchronization, just ballpark; this song is playing, oh, I remember this video

As for why not just play the video. My speaks are better, my playlists more varied and my Navidrome is more accessible.

This is exciting. I was surprised to see that I could see other users' documents. So I looked it up and it seems the fix is in testing. Great news!

~~I'm trying to install this: https://github.com/ironsheep/lovelace-rpi-monitor-card~~

~~I installed the HACS bit and then got lost. I have no idea why, but my brain keeps farting and I just can't process the rest. Even so, I installed the daemon and got stuck that running okay but how do I associate an entity?~~

Edit: figured out it needs both the hostname and the sensor name filled out

How are people like this allowed to have a job still?

I don't know if I'm stupid or if NextCloud's instructions are stupid, it's probably me and subsequently I'm struggling.

For all of my Docker stuff, I move the config directory to my opt folder with a simple

    volumes:
     - /opt/APPNAME/config:/config

And generally have the data on a remote drive like

    - music:/music

volumes:
  music:
    driver_opts:
      type: "nfs"
      o: "addr=192.168.X.XXX,nolock,soft,rw"
      device: ":/mnt/HD/Public/Shared Music"

This works perfectly for everything and I'm generally pleased with how things run. But NextCloud is throwing a bunch of words at me and I don't get it. Why can't it be as simple as what I'm already doing? Why do I have to declare

    environment
      - NEXTCLOUD_DATADIR=
      - NEXTCLOUD_MOUNT=

And why is it pointing me to? https://github.com/nextcloud/all-in-one?tab=readme-ov-file#how-to-store-the-filesinstallation-on-a-separate-drive

Which just points you to https://www.guguweb.com/2019/02/07/how-to-move-docker-data-directory-to-another-location-on-ubuntu/

I'm looking at this Docker Compose like...

NextCloudPi was so simple to set up. If not for being stuck on v25, I'd have been happy with it. 🥺

It points to an x86 image
