Do these claims have any basis in reality? I mean, there are lots of claims in this text. Some things I'm sure are done by human therapists. Some I'm not sure can be done by AI. Are there scientific studies backing any if this up? Did you write that text yourself, or is this some AI hallucination?

The Chinese internet is consored. And there is a language barrier. So you're generally not going to read a blog post or independent article 99% of the time someone gets beaten or killed there.

Also it's not focus or even within our perspective. And something not many people are interested in...

And thirdly, the US media and citizens perspective generally doesn't extend beyond their borders. When have you heard of police brutality in ANY other countries than the USA? Or whats bothering people in other countries?

I'd say drop it and accept your wife how she likes to be. It's not "nothing" but it's just outer appearance and ultimately she has to walk around with her body and be comfortable with her looks.

You two should talk. Respect each other and find something that works for the both of you. Focus on how you and her feel and what your wants and needs are. In doubt she gets to decide on her own haircut. But try to find out why it's bothering you and her so much.

Edit: And I'd agree on the couples therapy someone mentioned. This isn't a healthy situation to be in. You probably need to put in some effort if you want to keep her. Learn how to accept each other and grow past this. I'm not saying you're at fault or the one needing to change. But the underlying issue could drive you apart if it keeps growing.

Ahem, no. Science is a method to find answers with some metholody behind it. Not just any random questions and everything is the same.

(So yes, questioning science is good practice and a big part of a scientists job... Yet, you need to follow the scientific method if you do it, or you're just making (wrong) stuff up.)

I'm not sure where in the documentation they list available backends... But you can see it in the source here: https://github.com/langchain-ai/langchain/tree/master/libs/langchain/langchain/llms (for the Python version)

You could use something like a Huggingface endpoint, or OpenRouter if you want flexibility but something easy to use. There are services like RunPod or vast.ai which let you rent cloud GPUs by the minute and run whatever you like. These would be some of the popular services.

Edit: Here's the documentation page for the JS version: https://js.langchain.com/docs/integrations/llms/

Get a lawyer. I think it's called an "ex parte" divorce. Maybe it's not easy and there might be complications on a first hearing. But I don't think there is a country or state where you can evade law and courts just by not showing up.

Make it 63 (31?) to align with what C99 can distinguish.

Also: I really like unicode in identifiers. So if at all possible don't just have a random string of letters and numbers, make sure to include greek letters and all the funny emojis. (I just forgot which languages and compilers etc allow that.)

A false police report is when you lie to the police. And give them false information.

So if someone is missing, go to the police and tell them they're missing. That's the truth. If they ask questions, answer truthfully and it'll be alright. That's what the police is for and their job.

Also: Since you're having trouble... Go to the police station in person. Somebody will be there, talk to you and explain things to you. Like what's false and what's a good report.

And then if you get new information that might be related to the case: Immediately forward that to the police! You're not an detective and neither are we. If you got that call... Tell the police. It's not a lie that you got a call. Let the proper investigator figure it out. It probably takes them 5 minutes to trace the number and figure it out. And you shouldn't overthink it or try to conclude things. Just tell them what you heard and that you don't know if it's connected or coincidence. That's the truth and it the job of the police to find out what's happening. Not your job.

And you're delaying everything by not doing it properly. Go to the police station in person. Tell them everything. Be honest and tell the truth. Let them do their job.

And don't have back and forth via email and debates on Lemmy... Go to the station and talk to one of the officers. Ask them the same questions you're asking here. Should I file a report... What if he's hiding from me... What about that phone call... Ask an officer about that. They're the police and they have the correct answers to all of your questions. They can give advise before filing a report or adding something. They have additional tools available. And they've seen situations like yours before. They probably have a standard procedure in place if somebody hides from their partner. They could tell you about it if you went there and asked them.

Because they're mostly a group of people filled with hatred. That's what's uniting them. And the other side less so, so they don't act that way.

That is kind of the problem. Everyone else is getting scammed, their data stolen and tried to be manipulated by targeted advertising, algorithms and addictive, yet unhealthy social media platforms.

I wish it were more than the nerds who cared...

And the open source part is just a captcha page and a few config files for haproxy/nginx?
